These events are open to ALL OSU Students.
 
 
Monday October 12
Late Night Entertainment with David Coleman: The Dating Doctor, "America's Real-Life Hitch!"
  • Humorous and Informative Speech on the Topic of Making Relationships Matter 
  • This program has been approved to meet the Safety, Health, and Wellness Requirement (formerly Risk Management)
  • Greeks also receive Homecoming Week points for attendance.
  • 8:00 PM in the RPAC’s Davis Special Events Gym

Tuesday October 13
Free HIV/AIDS Testing at the Student Wellness Center and the Hale Center
 
Anonymous HIV antibody testing will be available at the Student Wellness Center (B130 RPAC) from 12-7pm. The testing will use the oral swab  and results will be given on site.
 
Anonymous HIV antibody testing provided by The Tobias Project will be available at The Hale Center from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm (last client will be taken at 5:30pm). The testing will be a blood draw and results will be given on site.
 
Columbus Public Health will also provide Confidential STI testing at the Hale Center, which will include:
   chlamydia/gonorrhea (urine samples) - available from 12-5pm
   syphilis (blood draw) - available from 12-6pm (last client will be at 5:30pm)

Thursday October 15th
Walk A Mile in Her Shoes
  • Wexner Plaza located at 15th and High Street
  • Put on by IFC and OUAB
  • Day of Registration starts at 4:30, Opening Presentation at 5:30, Walk at 6:00.
 Ever heard the expression, “you never really know someone until you walk a mile in their shoes?”
Come Join the Ohio State Interfraternity Council and the Ohio Union Activities Board  as we walk one mile in women’s high heeled shoes in order to Raise Awareness for Rape, Sexual Assault, and Gender Violence. All proceeds benefit the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio.
